With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard DeFreeuw of Flossmoor, Illinois, who passed away on August 28, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles DeFreeuw and Adeline DeFreeuw of South Bend, Indiana.; and his son Patrick DeFreeuw. He is survived by: his wife Patricia DeFreeuw; his daughter Jennifer DeFreeuw (Allen Walker); and his grandchildren, Erick Vandergaw and Tara Vandergaw. He is also survived by extended family, and many friends.
