He was predeceased by: his brother Theodore West; and his parents, Harold West and Jean West. He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Somer (Thomas Jr.) of Tinley Park; his grandson Henry Austin Somer; his sister Jean Martin (Philip Perry) of Phoenix, AZ; and his nephews, Trevor and Cory Martin.
