He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary W. Donahue; and his siblings, Alice Schmidt, E. James Donahue and Donald Donahue. He is survived by: his children, Joan Donahue, John Donahue (Mary Edna), Michael Donahue (Leslie), Kathleen McNally (Liam) and Kevin Donahue (Peggy); and his sisters, Pat McDonald and Teresa Doherty. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and his four great grandchildren as well as his numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tews-Ryan Funeral (18230 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, IL 60430). A prayer was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Google Maps Cemetery (1131 Douglas Ave, Flossmoor, IL 60422). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Cemetery Chapel Service.
