He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Crum and Martha Crum; and his sibling Francis Crum (late Jeanne). He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Crum and James J. Crum (Mary Frances); his grandchildren, James (Beth Comatos), Michael Alverson, Matthew (Hailey), Zachary and Emily Crum; his close friend Veronica "Ronnie" Deer; and his sister-in-law Joyce Jones (late Arthur).
