Virgil G. Collins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virgil G. Collins of Flora, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Virgil leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Virgil may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lee and Bethelene Collins (Oaks); and his siblings, Gussie Collins, Skeeter Collins, Alfred Collins, Garland Collins, Mary Cooper, Eithel Toney and Thelma Prairie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Momence Cemetery (10050 E 4000 N Rd, Momence, IL 60954).
