She was predeceased by: her parents, Okley Tackitt and Carrie Tackitt (Griffin); and her siblings, Venita Vest (Art), Lois Woods (Bob) and Harold Tackitt.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Kay Hasan of Alabama, Shirley Jean Esch (David) of Florida and Donald Earl Hammond (Brenda) of Flora; her sister Betty Rae Monical of Indiana; and her niece Patsy Williams of Flora. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home (500 N Main St, Flora, IL 62839). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to Clay County Cancer Crusaders, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
