It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Finley of Flora, Illinois, born in Saint Elmo, Illinois, who passed away on October 9, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy William "Culley" Finley and Hazel Delphine Finley (Augustine); her son James Roy Waddell; and her brother William "Bill" Finley. She is survived by: her daughters, Toni Waddell (Glenn Young) of Flora and Tammy Durbin (Mahon) of St. Louis, Missouri; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Waddell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Jennifer Waddell, Jimmie Waddell, Gerry Homann, Kent Childress, Joshua Homann and Kyle Durbin; her great grandchildren, Makayla Osmon, Paxton Childress, Tracyn Childress, Draven Homann, Pantera Homann, Coraline Homann, Halo Homann, Blithe Homann and Theia Homann; and her great great grandchild Zayli Osmon.
Memorial donations are suggested to Clay County Cancer Crusaders and will be accepted through the funeral home.
