It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Cooper of Flora, Illinois, born in Annapolis, Maryland, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Miller and Bessie Miller (Baker); and her siblings, Tommy Miller, James Miller, Arnold Miller and Beatrice Mae Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Richard A. Cooper, III (Deann) of Iuka and Regina A. Bunning (Jerry) of Decatur; and her siblings, Betty Lou Anderson and Richard Lee Miller. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to Clay County Animal Rescue & Shelter (CCARS) or Alzheimer's Association, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
