He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. King Jr. and Marjorie I. King (Palmer); his son-in-law Mark Ellerbeck; and his brother-in-law Richard "Dick" Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Mary King of Flora; his daughters, Karla King of Flora and Angie Ellerbeck of O'Fallon; his grandson Luke Ellerbeck of O'Fallon; his brothers, Herb King (Kay) of Carlyle and Kenneth King (Judy) of Salem; and his sisters-in-law, Connie King of Riverton and Grace Miller of Muncie, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are the preferred form of remembrance gift, and these may be given to either First Southern Baptist Church of Flora or Cornerstone Farms, 1711 State Route 4, St. Jacob, IL 62281.
