The passing of Rita Weidner of Flora, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 76. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Rita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Weidner and Bernette Weidner (Phillips); and her siblings, Nelson Weidner and Marsha Blair. She is survived by: her siblings, Neil Weidner (Robin) of Louisville and Cathi Bailey (Rick) of Louisville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dillman Cemetery (4386 Jasper Rd, Clay City, IL 62824).
Memorial donations are suggested to assist with final expenses, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
