He is survived by: his wife Ruth Cooper of Flora; his children, Richard A. Cooper III (Deann) of Iuka and Regina Bunning (Jerry) of Decatur; his grandchildren, Richard "Ric" A. Cooper IV (Dani), Danielle Marcum (David), Hayley Cooper, Jana Chamness and Jessica Huskisson; his great grandchildren, Andi, Bree, Owen, Emery, Madelyn and Presley; and his sister Marjorie Barnett of Evansville, Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
