As Paul departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Paul may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Paul leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Birk and Catherine Birk (Mueth); and his brother Karl J. Birk. He is survived by: his nephews, Steve Birk (Judy), David Birk (Joyce), Jeff Birk (Erin) and Greg Birk (Lauren); his niece Dianne Jurgensmeyer (Patrick); and his sister-in-law Carol Birk Woodrum.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery (812 N Main St, Flora, IL 62839). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church (812 N Main St, Flora, IL 62839).
