She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Whitfield and Audra D. Whitfield (Jerman); her siblings, Charles Whitfield and June Whitfield; and her sister-in-law Charlene Clift.
She is survived by: her husband Sam Brandon of Flora; her daughters, Lizbeth Strubhart (Jeff) of Flora and Susan Vivonetto (Joe) of Naples, Florida; her grandchildren, Melissa Reese (Kenny) of Carterville, Brandon Mills (Jamie) of St. Charles, Peter Vivonetto and Sam Vivonetto of Naples, Florida; her great grandchildren, Brady Bagwell, Rylan Mills, Adleigh Mills and Christian Reese; her sister Juanita Hicks of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and her sister-in-law Sandy Darden of Lewisville, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to First Southern Baptist Church or Clay County Hospice, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
