With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Bonham of Flora, Illinois, born in Xenia, Illinois, who passed away on September 26, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Austen and Mary Ethel Wildbur (Krantz); her spouse Harley Paul Bonham; her brothers, Harold Wildbur, Charles Wildbur and Larry Wildbur; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Wildbur, Gaylon Wells and Don Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse Bonham (Lynette) of Xenia, Roger Bonham (Cindy) of Xenia and Aleta Tackitt (Jim) of Flora; her grandchildren, Emily Boyajian (Ruben) of Effingham, Jessica Lewis (Brandon) of Cisne, Jed Bonham (Heather Angle) of Flora, Christina Tangman (Michael) of St. Peters, Kindal Eastin (Aaron) of Olney, Brian Tackitt (Mindy) of Flora, Angela Tackitt of Terre Haute and Brent Tackitt (Stephanie) of St. Charles, Missouri; her siblings, Lois Wells of Louisville, Ailene Anderson of Xenia and Paul Wildbur (Rosalie) of Louisville; her aunt Phyllis Boomgarden of East Peoria; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Wildbur of Effingham and Vivian Wildbur of Mason. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home (500 N Main St, Flora, IL 62839). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to Clay County Hospice, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
