It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lu Harned (Flora, Illinois), born in Edgewood, Illinois, who passed away on July 12, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Allen and Phyllis Allen (Elledge); and her husband Daniel E. Harned. She is survived by: her sons, Doug E. Harned (Jenni) of New Douglas and Mark Harned (Donna) of Rapid City; her grandchildren, Mariah Harned, Isabella Harned, Luke Harned (Trinity), Vincent Harned (Janna), Joseph Harned (Faith), Jeremiah Harned, David Harned, Eliza Harned, Samuel Harned and Jenson Trego; and her siblings, Elsie Braddock (Will) of Orchardville, Rick Allen (Debbie) of Louisville and Rocky Allen (Anita) of Flora. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Luke Harned in honor of the care he devoted to his grandmother.
