She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Neff, Jr. and Minnie Neff (Bates); her husband Charles W. Cox; and her sisters, Hazel Neff, Mildred Hamilton and Velma Frost.
She is survived by: her children, Walter (Shelby Cox), Barbara (Dan Jestic), Duane (Carla Cox), Brenda (Pat Hodges), Sandra Cox of Woodlawn, Illinois and Tima Clark of Murphysboro, Illinois; her grandchildren, Brian Cox of Portland, Oregon, Shaun (Laura Cox), Alisha (Craig Tyler), Levi Jestic of Platte City, Missouri, Charla Jestic of Castle Rock, Colorado, Amanda (Tet Litzinger), Matthew (Kerriann Cox), Amy (Mark McCaig), Lori (Corbett Hollier), Jami (Nicolas Jacobs), Kristopher Clark of Marion, Illinois and Andrea (Dan Hansen); her great grandchildren, Annabelle Cox, Benjamin Cox, Averie Cox, Charlie Cox, Lillie Cox, Carmen Jacobs, Daphne Hollier, Elaina Hansen and Oliver Hansen; her sister-in-law Jean Cox of Flora; and her pets, Sally and Dolly. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations are suggested to the donor's choice of the Clay County Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry, Clay County Animal Rescue & Shelter (CCARS) or Fur a Good Paws, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
