He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil C. Smith and Bessie Lee Smith; his former wife Edna Brown; his wife Elizabeth R. Uebinger; his stepson Jim Uebinger (Donna); and his siblings, Grace Mix and Ralph Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Marie Browning of Rinard; and his stepchildren, Sue Lowe (Bing), Dave Briscoe (Nancy) and Richard Cunningham (Goldie). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to Clay County Cancer Crusaders or Clay County Hospice and will be accepted through the funeral home.
