It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Gill of Flora, Illinois, born in Albion, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Gill and Genevieve Gill (Ankenbrandt); his wife Joyce Gill; and his siblings, Jim, Ben Gill and Mary Walsh.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Ackley (Darryl) of Socorro; his grandchildren, Rafe Ackley and Mackenna Ackley of Socorro; his sister Helen Gill of Albion; his stepchildren, Kerry Edwards of Crystal River, Florida and Sabrina LaClair of Crystal River, Florida; and his nephews, John Walsh, Tim, Mike and Danny Gill.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, memorial donations are suggested to the local Flora Disabled American Veterans (DAV), and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
