We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2023, at the age of 97, Kermit Tuel of Flora, Illinois, born in Oblong, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Tuel and Blanche Tuel (Wilson); his wife Barbara Lee Huskey; his son Don "Donnie" Tuel; his grandson Jonathan; and his siblings, Chuck Tuel, Howard Tuel and Wanda Schoffstall.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Ron; his children, Ron Tuel (Pam) of Oblong, Rodney Tuel (Kelly) of Oblong, Tanya Tuel of Flora and Tammie McKinney (Ron) of Flora; and his sister-in-law Diane Lemmon. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
