With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Eckelberry (Flora, Illinois), born in Tuscola, Illinois, who passed away on October 28, 2019 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Daniel and Moine Romelle McCollom (Williams); her husband Clifford Eckelberry; her son Don Kirkman Jr.; and her sister Cathy McCollom.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stacy Edmison (Jason) of Urbana, Laurie Michael (Ken) of Spring Hill, FL and Julie Applegate (Justin) of Flora; her stepchildren, Gene Eckelberry (Barb) of Iuka and Annie Lewis (Herbie) of Salem; and her siblings, John McCollom (Amy) of Villa Grove and Connie Mitsdarfer (Dennis) of Villa Grove. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to Clay County Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry and will be accepted through the funeral home.
