She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Leon and Alta Marie Shoryer (Ross); her husband Lowell McCollum, Jr.; her son Lowell Randall McCollum; her brother William "Buck" Shoyer; and her stepfather Robert Payne.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Lillian Louise Young (John) of Vincennes, Indiana, Gloria L. McCollum of Clay City and Brenda Lee Gaines (Randy Dane) of Clay City; her close friends, James Kilduff (Amy) of Olney, Larryallan Gaines of Flora and Kyle Gaines of Olney; and her siblings, Carol Marie Rinehart of Mt. Pleasant, Linda Dennis (Dale) of Blue Springs, MO and Donald Shoryer (Carlotta) of Newburg, IN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
