He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rolla Wood and Velma Wood (Wilson); his wife Carol Ann Wood of Flora; his children, Mike Wood (Denise) of Flora, Todd Wood (Jane) of Flora and Kari Wood of Louisville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Rory O'Dell (Kaci) of Flora, Alan Wood (Lucretia) of Cisne, Mina Wood of Flora, Will Wood of Cisne, Aja Wood (Wayne Jones) of Xenia, Talia Moore (Jeremy) of Effingham and Ian Wood of St. Louis; his great grandchildren, Jett, Ayla, Adaline, Kennedy, Kenley, Emerson, Kerrigan and Briar; his brother Gary Wood (Catherine) of Dahinda; his siblings-in-law, Mary Hoy (Jeff Ingersoll) of Altamont, Nancy VanDyke of Xenia and Darrel VanDyke (Carolyn) of Lewisville, Texas; his granddaughter Sarah Lynne Wood; his siblings-in-law, Charlie Hoy and Sharon Wood; and his nephew Brad Wood. He was also cherished by several nieces, cousins, and many good neighbors and friends.
Memorial donations are suggested to the donor's choice of Christ's Church of Flora, McCabe Church, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and these will be accepted via the funeral home.
