It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jan Cycholl of Flora, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Fred Cycholl; and her parents, Virgil Broch and Helen Broch of Springfield, IL. She is survived by: her children, Garin (Shadla), Michaela (Steve Hartzer), Trenton (Jennifer) and Dr. Brandon (Tyra); and her grandchildren, Adam, Kelsey, Kyle Hartzer, Taryn, Janna, Freddy, Adeline Cycholl, Savannah, Owen and Prairie Cycholl.
In lieu of flowers, Jan's family encourages memorial donations to the Flora Public Library, the Flora Academic Foundation, or the Clay County Hospice, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
