James Harrell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2021, at the age of 88, James Harrell of Flora, Illinois, born in Xenia, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pearl and Esther Harrell (Block); and his wife Catherine Gibbs. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Harrell (Nancy) of Jacksonville and Steve Harrell (Jennie) of Flora; his grandchildren, Matthew Harrell (Valerie) of Eau Claire, Madison Harrell of Flora and Trenton Harrell of Flora; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Harrell and Evan Harrell.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Clay County Cancer Crusaders or the HSHS Hospice of Effingham.
