He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Shock and Patsy (Burroughs); and his brothers, Lester and Donald "Donny" Shock. He is survived by: his wife Monica Shock; his daughter Hayli Anderson; his grandsons, Brock and Derek Anderson; and his siblings, Ruth Griffin, Anita Allen (Ric), Nancy McKenna, Dixie Harding (David), Charles Shock (Kimberly), April Shock, Paul Shock (Kailie), Michael Shock (Jennie Yingst), James Shock (Jennifer), Jason Shock (Kristen) and David Shock (Bobbi). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home (205 E Elm St, Olney, IL 62450). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Greenhill Cemetery.
Full Military Rites will be performed at the Graveside, Memorials can be made to American Heart Association.
