It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Lewis of Flora, Illinois, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldo Woodrow and Eva Fern Lewis (Hurd); his wife Vivian Sue Lewis; his siblings, Larry, Don, Mike Lewis and Debbie Jones; and his son-in-law Kelly Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Lewis of Flora, Herbie Lewis (Annie) of Salem, Melinda Miller (Jason) of Flora and Barbara Brown of Flora; his grandchildren, Chelsea Henson (Robert), Dustin Lewis, Stephanie Lewis, Kyle Lewis, Tiffany Henley (Christopher), Daniel Green, Paul Green (Tabby), Josie McIntosh (Alex), Christopher Ferguson, Kirby Coble, Parker Coble, Heather Gonzalez (David), Nick Burkett (Denise), Gary Burkett and Trey Miller; his sister Jane Priest of Hanson, Kentucky; and his pet Bam Bam. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Flora Coon Club, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
