She was predeceased by: her parents, Estes Laughlin and Mary Laughlin (Block); and her spouse Herbert A. Tackitt. She is survived by: her son Gary A. Tackitt of Mt. Vernon; her grandsons, Daniell Tackitt (Kelly) and Shayne Tackitt (Megan); her great grandchildren, Addison, Tristen, Tyler, Zeke, Calen and Emerlee; and her sister Nadine Simmons of Cisne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial donations are suggested to Flora Church of the Nazarene and will be accepted through the funeral home.
