We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2019, at the age of 88, Edith Woods (Flora, Illinois), born in Johnsonville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Edgar and Martha Sampson Sr. (Long); her children, Eddie Lee Woods, Maureen B. Hagen and Debbie Ann Bunting; and her siblings, Delmer Sampson, Robert Sampson, Leo Sampson, Charles Sampson, Edgar Sampson, Mary McClintock, Marie Cates and Louise Ames.
She is survived by: her sons, Meryl Woods Jr. of Flora and Rick Woods of Flora; and her son-in-law Frank Hagen of Noble. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the donor's choice of local charity and will be accepted through the funeral home.
