She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Henderson and Ruth Henderson (Thomas); her children, Monte Henderson and Sharon Thompson; her brothers-in-law, Jerrell Kirby, Bill Murphy and Floyd Christy; and her stepchildren, Don Thompson, Marilynn Colwell, Betty Sargent, Donna Bailey and Chuck Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Glenda Banks (Lester) of Flora, Mike Thompson (Ann) of Coal City and Debra Thompson of Mount Carmel; her siblings, Bonnie Christy of Centralia, Barbara Kirby of Sparta, Marilyn Prince (Tom) of Franklin, Doris Murphy of Lacey, Washington and Phillip Henderson (Charlene) of Clay City; her grandchildren, Melissa Peters of Coal City, Elizabeth Banks of Flora and Jeramy Banks of Flora; and her great grandchildren, Jacob and Rylie Peters of Coal City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Frank and Bright Funeral Home to help offset expenses.
