She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Pennington and Estel Marie Pennington (Cooper); her sisters, Radean Clements and Laura Mae Pennington; and her parents-in-law, Christopher and Mamie Wathan.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Wathan of Flora; her children, Randy Wathan of Flora, Rhonda Garrett (Scott) of Flora and Ronnie Wathan (Sharon) of Rock Hill; and her siblings, Ilene Kinnaman of Flora, Lena Belle Carrell of Flora and Eber Pennington of Cisne. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to Bloom Baptist Church or Clay County Hospice and will be accepted through the funeral home.
