He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Briscoe and Brooksy Alice Briscoe (Davis); his wife Shirley Briscoe; his daughter Jane Hanneken; his brothers, James "Dode", Robert "Satch" and Rex Briscoe; and his brother-in-law Cecil Jones.
He is survived by: his former wife Shirley L. Armstrong; his sons, Chuck Briscoe (Jan) of Cincinnati and Brad Briscoe (Tina) of Flora; his grandchildren, Jeff Hanneken (Deb) of Tampa, Allison Ernst (Brad) of Cincinnati, Jennifer Andres (Rob) of Cincinnati, Alicia Gates (Justin) of Cincinnati, Christina Sisk of Flora, Matthew Briscoe (Lindsey) of Memphis and Sarah Brashear (Nick) of Centralia; his sister Maxine Jones of Flora; and his sister-in-law Virginia Ernest of Mt. Carmel. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Flora or the local chapter of Disabled American Veterans and will be accepted through the funeral home.
