He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Robert and Elsie Marie Smith (Elliott); his siblings, Patricia Mae Smith Scott and Jimmy Lee Smith; his sister-in-law Marilyn Picago Smith (Jimmy); his nephew Samuel Lee Smith; and his stepson Curtis Rutt.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Marlene Schott Tibbs; his son Bart Tibbs (Tammy) of Marshfield; his granddaughters, Grace Tibbs of Chicago and Emma Tibbs O'Dell (Keegan) of Conway, Missouri.; his siblings, Earl Ray Smith of Wasco and Kathy Marie Smith Anthenat of Springfield; and his stepchildren, Anthony Rutt of Evansville, Eric Fox of Bettles and Kristin Fox Britt of Boston, Massachusetts.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to Bethlehem Christian Church, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
