He is survived by: his wife Elaine Meares of October; his sons, Ryan Staton, Brandon Staton (Jen) and Chris Staton (Myra); his grandson Brayden Lewis; his pets, Leo, Ally, Queen, Chicken and Relic; his nieces, Susan Dagg (Marty) and Erin Dagg; and his cousins, Vicky Corry, Berdella McGrew, Kris Engelmeier (Micheal), Gina Eade (David), Larry Lee Meares (Michelle) and Joni Meares.
