With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bob Mason (Flora, Illinois), born in Princeton, Indiana, who passed away on January 26, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph E. Mason and Anna E. "Betty" Mason (Catt); his sister Ann O'Donnell (Bill); his stepson Terry Burkett; and his stepgrandson Charles "Chuck" Burkett.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley A. Burkett Mason (Henson); his siblings, Jerry Mason of Bakersfield, California and Teresa Bayler (Randy) of Olney; his stepdaughter-in-law Angela Burkett of Flora; and his stepgrandchildren, Joshua Burkett of Muscle Shoals, Deanna Burkett of Sheffield, Jacob Burkett (Laura) of Salem, Jonah Burkett (Tricia) of Flora and Sara Burkett of Flora. He is also survived by 15 step-great-grandchildren; and 2 nieces and 4 nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Flora Public Library, and will be accepted through the funeral home.
