It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Tooley of Flora, Illinois, born in Sailor Springs, Illinois, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Marie Busby (Tooley); his siblings, Margie Durre, Wanda Busby, Wilma Busby and Willis Busby; and his parents-in-law, Roy and Georgie Ruger.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Tooley of Flora; his daughters, Brenda Streif (Brian) of Louisville and Pamela Tooley of Flora; his granddaughters, Shannon Streif (Mike) of Thornton, Victoria Streif-Keele (Grant) of Flora and Jennifer Streif of Effingham; his great grandchildren, Kamden and Ryker Keele; and his brother-in-law Richard Ruger (Johnalee) of Collinsville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial donations are suggested to First Church of God, March of Dimes, or the Wounded Warrior Project, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
