He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Dunnigan and Mary Dunnigan (Thompson); his wife Marilyn Bennett; and his brothers, Leo, Charles, Richard and John Dunnigan.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Debbie Greenwood (Danny) of Flora, Robert R. Jackson Jr. of Marble Falls, Cheryl Jackson of Xenia and Christine McAllister (Tom) of Flora; his sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Dunnigan Wright and Arlene Dunnigan; and his nieces and nephews, Nancy Rich, Karen Donoho, Tina Dunnigan, Mike, Kevin, Mark, Darin and Brian Dunnigan. He is also survived by 12 step-grandchildren; 20 step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to Clay County Hospice and will be accepted through the funeral home.
