He was predeceased by: his son Richard Eugene Montgomery, II; and his brothers, Michael Montgomery and Ross Montgomery. He is survived by: his parents, Charles G. Montgomery and Daisy Montgomery (Hightshoe); his spouse Elsie Hanna; and his children, Charles, Sue Hussey of Oblong, IL, Elizabeth and Jeff Montgomery of Robinson, IL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.
