He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Spencer Hoalt and Dora Hoalt (Cardinal); his son Steven Hoalt; his sisters, Tricie Hoalt, Nancy Hoalt, Dovie Dunham and Dorothy Lovellette; his grandmother Schroeder (Marjorie Irvin); and his brothers, Edgar Hoalt, Dallas Hoalt, Louis Amos Hoalt, Cecil Hoalt, Virgil Hoalt, Curtis Hoalt and Harvey Hoalt.
He is survived by: his son Jon; his daughter-in-law Jackie Hoalt; his grandchildren, Johnna and Jacob Jones; his great grandchild Ethan Michael Jones; his grandchildren, Jake and Danielle Hoalt; and his great grandchild Hilton Ivan Hoalt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the "Flat Rock United Methodist Church," with envelopes available at the funeral home.
