He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry A. Beard and Jessie F. Beard (Anderson); his wife Glennda Beard; his great grandchild Orville Stout; his parents-in-law, Charles and Florence Roseman; and his siblings, Clyde, Paul, Virgil Beard, Helen Williams, Ruby Hatfield, Vera Shears, Kathryn Murphy, Viola Wartsbaugh and Thelma Levels.
He is survived by: his significant other Glennda Roseman; his children, Denise (Beard), Michelle (Beard), Dwight, Frank Wells of Hutsonville, IL, Tom Staley of Palestine, IL and Richele Beard of Flat Rock, IL; his grandchildren, David Stout, Kyle Stout, Karen Mattingly, Candi Howard, Levi Staley, Dustin Staley, Whitney Beard and Zack Beard; and his sister Rose Bledsoe of Robinson, IL. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
