She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bill Yordy and Mae Yordy (Saltzman); her husband Chester Long; her children, Dianne Matthews (Dick) of Streator, Tim Long (Karen) of Franklin and Ted Long of Sarasota; her sister Merna Holaway of Watseka; her sister-in-law Sharon Pettegrew (Hal) of Lititz, PA; and her sister Aldine Hartzler. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Salem Church, Salem4Youth or to the donors choice.
