He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Byler and Irene Byler (Slagel); and his siblings, Dorothy Snider (Paul) and James Byler (Jen). He is survived by: his wife Janice C. Lehman; his children, Pattie Lamoreux and Allen Byler; his grandsons, Robert Lamoreux (Katie), Issac Lamoreux (Olivia) and Ben Lamoreux; and his great grandchildren, Lydia and Audrey Lamoreux.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Freeport Mennonite Church (3416 E Brick School Rd, Freeport, IL 61032).
A memorial has been established in his name.
