He was predeceased by: his siblings, Wayne, Edwin "Jack", Mildred and Faye. He is survived by: his wife Margery Rocke; his children, Larry Stalter (Marcia), Randy Stalter (Sandy), Sandra Schertz (Glenn) and Rebecca Martellaro (Robert); his grandchildren, Geoffrey Schertz, Wash, Alison Lane (Collin), Katie Stalter (Jeremiah Stapleton), D. C., John Stalter (Katie), Tracy Sondag (John) of Washington, ILL. and Jill Stalter (Davis Richards); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Alaina Sondag and Nora Stalter Stapleton; his stepgrandchildren, Melissa Osborn (Will) and Jeff Read (Brenda); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Bailey, Bryce Osborn and Ella Read; and his brother Paul Stalter.
Memorials may be given to a local food pantry of the donor's choice.
