It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris M. Rients (Flanagan, Illinois), who passed away on May 28, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Lee Rients; and her brother Julius Folkerts. She is survived by: her husband Gerald M. Rients; her sons, Steven Rients (Kathy) and Howard Rients (Martha); her granddaughters, Jodi Winchester (Pontiac) of Towanda, Kari Mackinson (Minonk) of Towanda, Grace of Towanda and Emma Rients of Towanda; and her great grandchildren, Levi, Luke Mackinson and Jackson Winchester.

Memorials may be made to St. Petri Lutheran Church, the Good Samaritan Home, or OSF Hospice.
