He is survived by: his parent Beverly Jo Shelhorn Hewitt; his children, Danny Joe Hewitt of Hawaii, Christopher Hewitt of Hawaii, Jordan Barr of Detroit, MI, Jesse Barr of Detroit, MI, Ethan Hewitt of Georgia and Cassandra Hewitt of Detroit, MI; and his brothers, Jeff Hewitt of Lewisburg, TN, Richard S. Hewitt of Virginia and Michael D. Hewitt (Janie) of Henryville, IN.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
