He is survived by: his mother Claribell Irvin (Gaines); his siblings, Vic Gaines (Joy) of Minnesota, John Gaines of Urbana, Gloria Cline of Phoenix and Denise Chesnut (Chuck) of Ogden; and his stepdaughter Dawn Stumborg (Tom) of Champaign.
