He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Sloat (Lowery) and Loyd Sloat. He is survived by: his siblings, Stanley Sloat (Jeannie) of Fisher, Phyllis Sloat of Champaign and Jayne Hart (Glenn) of Fenton. He is also survived by three nieces, two nephews, one great niece and two great nephews.
