Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dorotha leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, H. D. Curtis and Ethel Curtis; and her siblings, Ruth Kelsey, Shirley Stinson, Marion Curtis and Bob Curtis.
She is survived by: her sister Marilyn Reed of Fisher; and her children, William Burgess (Phyllis) of Philo, Becky Willey (Steve) of Champaign, Debbie Sparks (Mike) of Milton, FL., Tom Burgess (Bonita) of Bellflower, Patricia Barrett (Larry) of Fisher and David Burgess (Susie) of Fisher. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gibson City Bible Church.
