In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Darlene leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Darlene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Hitchins and Emma Estes Hitchins; and her husband Ivan Rogers. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Matheny of Brevard, Ron Rogers (Jill) of Fisher, Rick Rogers (Debra) of Paxton, Larry Rogers (Vicki) of Monticello, Lisa Heiser of Fisher and Lynn Rogers (Stacy) of Carlyle. She is also survived by Eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dewey Community Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
