It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Stivers of Findlay, Illinois, born in Shelbyville, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Stivers and Lottie Stivers (Auvil); his wife Sonja Stivers (Marquiss); his brother Terry; and his sister-in-law Brenda McHenry.

He is survived by: his sons, Clayton Stivers (Mindy) of Germantown Hills, IL. and Jason Stivers (Tammy) of Gallatin, TN.; his grandchildren, Cole, Ella and Mia; his brother Steven Stivers (Dianna) of Clinton, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Stivers, Gwenda Boys and Robert Marquiss.

Memorials may be made to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, Peoria, IL or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
