We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2020, at the age of 79, Gloria J. Davis of Findlay, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gloria J. Davis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil F. Banks and Julia M. Banks (Ripley); her husband Amos Davis; her stepfather Barney Clutter; and her stepsister Diana Clutter.

She is survived by: her children, Bob Davis (Tracy) of Gallatin, TN, Randy Davis of Robinson, IL, Suzanne Shaw (Roger) of Shelbyville, IL and Rodney Davis (Rita) of Pleasant Plains, IL; and her brothers, Kenneth Banks (Gwen) of Milwaukee, WI and Larry Banks (Gayle) of Fremont, CA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Memorials may be given to the Shelbyville Memorial Sunken Garden and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.

“To her children, especially Suzanne, I loved your kind, wonderful mother! When your dad was living they would surprise me with visits. I would go to their car & talk with her for hours. We both belonged to a garden club & were friends for years. She taught me more about flowers than anyone else. She gave me many plant starts. I tried to see her at the Manor. The day I went, she was out for an appt. Then this horrible virus hit. I will miss her always. So much love to you all. I am very sorry.”
